APPLY NOW – Israel Drone Delegation 2026

Israeli DroneTech Delegation – UAS Forum Sweden 2026

Applications Now Open | Only 10 Spots | Deadline: December 31, 2025

May 4–7, 2026 | Stockholm + Västervik, Sweden

The Israel Sweden Chamber of Commerce, together with the Israeli Foreign Trade Administration, invites Israeli drone technology companies to apply for participation in a structured three-day delegation program taking place on May 4–7, 2026 in Stockholm and Västervik, Sweden. Developed in coordination with the UAS Forum Sweden, Sweden’s leading and longest‑running UAS event, the delegation combines the strengths of the conference with a dedicated framework for operational demonstrations, coordinated meetings, and targeted exposure.

The delegation spans 4 complementary days, each contributing a different layer of access, visibility, and practical engagement:

1. Stockholm Business Program – May 4-5

A one-and-a-half-day program designed to anchor the delegation in Sweden’s innovation and regulatory landscape. Activities include ecosystem briefings, sector‑relevant introductions, and business-oriented engagements aligned with the profiles of the selected companies. The day sets the context ahead of the transition to Västervik for operational work.

2. Participation in UAS Forum Sweden 2026 – May 6–7

UAS Forum Sweden is Sweden’s oldest and largest drone conference, now in its 11th year, bringing together the most influential and leading actors from industry, government agencies, emergency services and research. The 2026 edition will take place at Gränsö Slott in Västervik with an increased international focus, and includes conference programming, exhibitions, networking activities, and live demonstrations at Västervik Airport coordinated through Västervik Drone Science Park.

Delegation members will have access to the main conference, benefiting from structured visibility and coordinated representation throughout the event.

3. Dedicated Demo Operations – Västervik Drone Science Park – May 6–7

Operational demonstrations will take place within the Västervik Drone Test and Development Environment, operated by Västervik Drone Science Park. The site provides controlled conditions for flight-ready systems, including BVLOS missions, varied Nordic terrain, and both coastal and inland operational profiles. Demo activities run in parallel to the UAS Forum and are exclusive to the Israeli delegation.

Why Västervik?

Västervik Drone Science Park offers an established operational environment with:

  • A 1,800 km² designated geo-zone for UAS activities
  • Approval for BVLOS operations
  • Multiple Nordic terrain profiles suitable for testing
  • A private airfield enabling controlled and sensitive demonstration scenarios
  • Over a decade of experience hosting international UAS trials and demonstrations

The combination of real operational conditions and controlled airspace creates a setting suitable for companies demonstrating mature systems.

Delegation Focus Areas

Priority will be given to companies working in:

  • Counter-UAS and anti-drone systems
  • Infrastructure and asset inspection
  • Blue-light / Emergency services technologies
  • Search and Rescue applications
  • Companies with systems validated for cold‑weather operational conditions will be prioritized.
What Selected Companies Receive
  • Dedicated demonstration time slots at Västervik
  • Conference credentials and delegation visibility
  • Coordinated meeting opportunities in Stockholm
  • Logistical and operational support throughout the program
  • Potential speaking opportunities, including limited keynote‑level visibility where applicable
  • Coordinated exposure to Nordic and European market stakeholders
Selection and Participation

Only 8–10 companies will be selected for the delegation. The selection process is competitive and based on technological readiness, alignment with the focus areas, and suitability for operational demonstration.

This year’s delegation takes place in a context of increased European defense spending, Sweden’s integration into NATO structures, and continued demand for dual-use technologies across emergency services and critical infrastructure operators.

Application Details

Applications close on December 31, 2025. Shortlisted companies will be contacted for a brief review discussion. Final selection will be announced shortly thereafter.
