Meeting of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Israel–Sweden Chamber of Commerce took part this week in the annual meeting of the bilateral chambers with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Economic Division.
Representing the Chamber were Chairman Danny Spirtus and Executive Director Irma Kuperman Davar.

The meeting brought together 38 chamber representatives and 14 senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a constructive exchange of views and joint planning for the coming year.
Discussions focused on the growing role of the chambers as a bridge between diplomacy and business, translating policy into opportunities and dialogue into practical collaboration.

A central theme was Israel’s position in global markets and the shared responsibility to strengthen it through active economic partnerships.
The regional roundtables encouraged open dialogue, mutual understanding, and ideas for future cooperation.

Special thanks are extended to Yael Ravia-Tzadok, Ofir Kariv, and Ron Gerstenfeld from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their leadership and hospitality,
and to, Dan Catarivas Chair of the Israeli Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce and Industry, for his valuable contribution to the discussion.

This dialogue is part of a broader process of shaping the 2026 agenda together with partners from diplomacy, business, policy, and industry in Israel and abroad — all sharing the goal of strengthening Israel’s international economic presence.
